We are a small independent team from India, on a very focused mission: make invoicing so effortless that no freelancer, small trader or first-year founder ever again gives up on billing because "the software is too complicated".

Why we built this

In early 2024, one of our co-founders was helping his father — a 62-year-old printing-shop owner in Buldhana — file his first GST return. What should have been a one-hour job turned into two weekends of pain because the accountant asked for "proper tax invoices" for the past six months. Every one of those invoices had been a handwritten slip in a diary.

We looked for a simple tool online. What we found were either "free 15-day trials" that quietly asked for a credit card, or free tools that watermarked every PDF or capped downloads at ten. So we built our own. Then we open-sourced parts of it. Now it lives here.

Our principles

• Free means free. No trials, no counters, no card required.
• Privacy first. Everything runs in your browser. Your customer data doesn't touch our servers unless you explicitly sign up.
• Made for India. ₹ symbol, GST breakup, HSN codes, e-invoice-ready format. Hindi tooltips coming soon.
• Weekly improvements. Every Friday we release small fixes based on user feedback.

Who uses this?

As of February 2026, over 12,000 individual users and small businesses across 428 cities in India have generated more than 240,000 invoices with our tool. The average user makes 18 invoices per month. Roughly a quarter come from Maharashtra, followed by Karnataka, Delhi NCR and Tamil Nadu.
